Jackson Parker Named Lone Finalist for WOISD Superintendent of Schools

On Friday August 16, 2024, The White Oak ISD Board of Trustees unanimously named Jackson Parker
 as the Lone Finalist for Superintendent of Schools. 

Mr. Parker is no stranger to White Oak ISD. He has previously served as White Oak High School Principal from 2022-2023, and was the Assistant Superintendent in 2023-2024. Mr. Parker has been in education for a total of 33 years and has served in multiple capacities. Mr. Parker has been married to his beautiful wife, Tina, for 32 years. Mrs. Parker serves as the WOHS health science teacher. White Oak is blessed to have both Mr. and Mrs. Parker as part of the family. 



Statement from Mr. Parker:

White Oak is a special school district.  White Oak pride and tradition run deep.  It is an honor and a privilege to be named the Lone Finalist, and I will work each and every day to make it a place where all students thrive. My job will be made much easier by the incredible staff at all campuses. The best is yet to come. GO ROUGHNECKS!!


Texas state law requires school districts to implement a 21-day waiting period before an official contract is offered. Mr. Parker is scheduled to sign his contract on Thursday  September 05, 2024.
